Job Description

• Establish with the design office, those permit materials and construction materials to be ordered by the field and issue field material requisitions as required.
• Inspect the non-critical piping-under grout-firefighting-circulating pipe systems to confirm compliance with specifications and develop a punch list for completed systems prior to handover, and then handle walk downs with the client to turnover.
• Responsible for Mechanical inspection of equipment installation.
• Issue field change notice (F.C.N.), Solve non-conformance report (N.C.R.).
• Develop bid documents, bid evaluations, single source documents, and recommendations for awarding purchase orders to engineering contractors and other required equipment and materials.
• Develop and evaluate the credibility of EPC schedules.
• Manage multiple projects by providing scheduling, resource management, budget control and compliance.
• Develop and Participate in contract negotiations and scoping.
• Ensure project design meets all industry, and company/contract/code specifications and requirements.
• Communicate and interface with multiple stakeholders (e.g., fabrication, Operations, Commercial, Measurement, Control Center, HSE, and Corporate technical support).
• Evaluate the feasibility of the project concepts and generate scopes of work, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Review engineering contractor drawings and invoices as quality and erection progress.
• Prepare necessary documentation for installation (e.g., Method statements, Procedures).
• Prepare quality documents (Project Quality Plan -Method Statements -welding procedure specification (W.P.S with PQR support ) -Inspection and test plan ).
• Check manufacturers -erection drawings and data for compliance according to specifications.
• Assist in the development and verification of project control documents and status reports.
• Assists supervision and project engineer in the preparation of short schedules.
• Assists in performing inspections and preparing documentation of work progress.
• Control the release of equipment for a job installation.
• Develop the program in coordination with site engineering and the responsible superintendents.
• Ensure access to code and standards applicable to baseline performance.
• Be ordered by the field and issue field material requisitions as required.
• Offer assistance in preparation of a documentation item including the required documentation to initiate the Occupational health & safety management system ISO 45001:2018.
• Offer assistance in preparation of a documentation item including the required documentation to initiate the Environment management system ISO 14001:2015.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelors’ in Power Mechanical Engineering, or any related
• Must have experience in on-water or under-water projects.
• Must be knowledgeable or certified in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Must be knowledgeable or certified in ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System Awareness
• Must have a certificate in Internal Auditing for Quality Management System.
