Joseph is a talented and professional Logistics personnel with over a vast experience of 6 years of managing logistic operations, inventory management, driving the supply chain profitability through cost management while maximizing revenue, managing the company’s logistics and transport operations to ensure an excellent customers and vendor experience is achieved. I have worked with Jumia Uganda as an inventory manager and participated in the process mapping of the operational excellence with in the logistic department, initiated the reversal process to minimize losses when returning packages form last mile hubs. Also, I have worked with DHL supply chain in the logistics department and participated in the setting up of operational key performance indicators and established the path to quality to ensure customer satisfaction is attained. I have got excellent communication skills both orally and verbally and pay greater attention to details in my work. Detail is also important to me, I like to ensure that I always pay attention to detail on anything that I work on to make sure that I complete the task successfully.
Currently working with inter Africa corporate limited where has offered support and participated in the scoping and designing of the e-commerce project under Swisscontact and Global alliance for trade facilitation through conducting stake holders engagements, carrying out surveys and lobby for both cash and in-kind contribution. Also I have offered in the business development services (BDS) for both local and multinational enterprises.
Joseph holds a Masters in Business Administration majoring in Finance from Makerere University, a Bachelor of Commerce and Uganda Diploma in Business Studies from Makerere University Business School. I have also attained certificates in Information awareness, Security information awareness and safety, Health, safety, Environment & Quality certificate.
