Between September 2014 - April 2016 I was working as a Mud Logger with Weatherford - doing this job, I was able to realize that I can juggle both office & field work without a problem. My roles here included: Analyzing drill cuttings to create mud logs; Carrying out sample microscopy, calcimetry and fluorometry; Monitoring fluid loss or gain by use of mud tank sensors; Preparing daily mud logging report for the client.
Since October 2017 to date, I have been working with Optimum Earth. As a Drilling Supervisor, my roles here include but not limited to: Giving instructions to the drilling contractor in accordance to the terms of the signed contract; Recording daily activities at the well site; Ensure that all connections on site are fit for the job; Instruct casing setting depths; Taking yield measurements; Logging cuttings and identifying rock types; Ensure site restoration and Approve contractor's work after completion.
I personally like taking on new challenges, I am self-motivated and enjoy working closely with others who share a common goal. My engagement with different nationalities so far suits me well in an environment of teamwork and multi-culture.
